Unity Art Nations

Founder & Curator: Martina Szilágyi

Who we are

Unity Art Nations is an international curatorial platform founded in Switzerland by artist and cultural ambassador Martina Szilágyi.

The platform connects contemporary artists from Europe, the Middle East and Asia through curated exhibitions focused on cultural dialogue, environmental awareness and female artistic voices.

Unity Art Nations is not a traditional gallery.

It is a mobile cultural pavilion designed for international art fairs, biennials and global art weeks.

We work with professional artists, embassies, art festivals and cultural institutions to create exhibitions that travel across borders and bring meaningful artistic narratives into the global art scene.

Our mission

We believe art is one of the most powerful tools of international dialogue.

Our mission is to:

• connect cultures through contemporary art

• support female and emerging international artists

• present art as a tool for sustainability, peace and cultural understanding

• bring curated European and international projects to Asia, the Middle East and the United States

Unity Art Nations focuses on high-quality contemporary art with a strong narrative, not on commercial mass production.

Exhibitions & Curatorial projects

BRATISLAVA -CURATED EXHIBITION (2024)

Curated and organized by Martina Szilágyi under the Unity Art Nations platform, this international event was conceived as an introductory curatorial exhibition and artistic happening, bringing together artists, performers, and creatives from Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and Asia.

The project was realized in collaboration with Red Tree and attended by Julio Noriega, Director of Strategic Alliances at the Qatar International Art Festival (QIAF). During the event, Martina Szilágyi was officially appointed Brand Ambassador for Qatar, recognizing her role in fostering international cultural dialogue and artistic exchange.

The visual documentation presented here reflects not only selected artworks, but also the atmosphere of the event – live performances, shared moments between artists, and the first introduction of participants to the vision and spirit of the QIAF project.

Prague - curated exhibition (2024)

Water Tower Letná (Vodařenská věž Letná), Czech Republic

Curated by Martina Szilágyi, this international exhibition took place at the iconic Water Tower Letná in Prague and brought together artists from Latin America and Slovakia, presented through the collaborative platforms Red Tree and Unity Art Nations.

The exhibition created a dynamic dialogue between diverse cultural perspectives, artistic languages, and contemporary expressions, highlighting the shared values of openness, exchange, and cross-border collaboration. Set within the unique historical architecture of the Water Tower Letná, the exhibition offered a powerful contrast between contemporary art and industrial heritage, enhancing the experiential dimension of the event.

India as a Donor

Art with Purpose

Through art, I was given the opportunity to travel to India not as a tourist, but as a donor and a witness. Thanks to the generosity of a philanthropist and founder of the Mission Zero Hunger initiative, artworks donated by artists were auctioned to support people living in extreme poverty. In return, this act of giving opened a door to a country of striking contrasts.

India revealed itself to me as a land of intense colors, scents, spirituality, and magnificent architecture, but also as a place where poverty is part of everyday life. Walking through markets and streets, it was impossible to ignore the presence of hungry, dirty children asking for a few rupees. These moments were confronting, humbling, and deeply transformative.

This journey reaffirmed my belief that art can have meaning beyond aesthetics. When an artwork becomes a tool for help, it gains another layer of value. Art can feed, protect, and restore dignity. Being part of Mission Zero Hunger showed me that even a single painting can contribute to real change.

This journey I shared with my husband, experiencing together not only the beauty of India, but also the responsibility that comes with privilege and awareness.

India as a Curator

Art That Connects Nations

My participation in Mission Zero Hunger did not remain a personal experience. As a curator, I felt a responsibility to open this path to others. Through my involvement, I was able to curate and organize a journey for three additional artists from Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and Switzerland, enabling them to take part in this humanitarian and cultural mission.

This project became a living example of how art connects people and nations. Artists from different countries, cultures, and languages came together with a shared purpose: to contribute through creativity and compassion. The artworks they donated were not only objects of visual expression, but bridges between worlds.

As a curator, I experienced how art can function as a universal language, breaking boundaries and building understanding. The journey strengthened international collaboration, deepened artistic dialogue, and proved that curatorship can be an act of service as much as an act of creation.

Unity Art Nations believes in art as a bridge between creativity and humanity.

India reminded us that art is not separate from reality. When guided by intention, it becomes a force that unites cultures, supports humanity, and transforms both the giver and the receiver.
